St Crispins

This multi-purpose community building was designed to integrate three separately functioning areas into one homogenous design. Office and classroom spaces were contained within one area and linked to a community hall / sports pavilion with bar and kitchen. This in turn was linked to a café area to ensure that the building could be used for a number of separate functions.

The design concept was to create a modern and inviting building that sympathized with the immediate landscaping whilst standing out visually.

Cedar boarding and coloured powder coated aluminium cladding were carefully used to give the building vibrancy whilst the sweeping curves helped to define important trees and give a more organic form.
