Pytchley Gate, Overstone

Pytchley Gate is a well-known local landmark and Grade II Listed monument defining the former entrance to Overstone Hall, and takes its name from its original location at nearby Pytchley Hall, being moved to its current location in 1843.  Unfortunately, it has suffered damage from car accidents in 1973 and again in 2007 when Sursham Tompkins were appointed to lead the restoration project, the results of which were Commended by the Natural Stone Awards 2010.
