Memorial Sportsfield Development

This new build part Lottery funded project provides changing room and social facilities for the Wellingborough Old Grammarians Sports Club, supporting football, rugby, cricket, and tennis with eight changing rooms, plus a bar, commercial grade kitchen and function room, and also including a first floor Committee Room and cricket pavilion with a commanding view of the cricket square.  The courtyard form, with minimal openings around the perimeter, was selected to provide shelter, seclusion and security for a facility on an exposed site on the urban fringe of the town.
