High Street Brixworth

This detached dwelling was designed to harmonise with two existing houses accessed from a private drive on a secluded site in the heart of Brixworth, with the required level of accommodation but minimising height and making an unobtrusive appearance on the streetscene.  The materials chosen were traditional brickwork and clay plain tiles, including tile hung dormers.  The house was positioned in order to take advantage of the existing historic stone wall and trees fronting onto the street, to further enhance the sense of privacy from within the site.
